We liked its well prepared and plentiful breakfasts!
We had a standard double room with a view over the park.

I asked for privilege room and it was good standard with balcony. The decor was old fashioned and the staff were excellent. Location: the hotel was right by the mall from the Amiens railway station, and the cathedral and river areas and lots of pedestrianised shopping areas.

Central location, that's great!
Facility is okay. But the carpet was 100 years old, it is better not to touch it. It's actually a nice balcony, but there's some rotten carpet. It was noticeable that only in the reception there was no old carpet: i.e. the guests were expected to do what the hotel staff did not like.

comfortable and close to the Musée Du Picardie. Ideal for my business trip/meeting with museum staff.

The location and the size of the room were the best part. The hotel however did not mention anywhere that they were renovating the room next to mine, so no peace and quiet during working hours : wall-hammering, installing carpet and smell of paint!
The owner/manager of the hotel needs to get up to date on customer service skills, he has none however! He was argueing with me when I was settling the bill; they were amazing at charging me for breakfast everyday although I had said -twice- when I checked in that I was not interested in having breakfast at the hotel as it is very expensive and poor value for money.

Location only
I was dissapointed by the size of the room, it was the smallest room in the hotel and yet the hotel was practically empty and we had not exactly picked the cheapest hotel. You couldnot open the bathroom door without hitting the bed. Compared to other Best Westerns it was poor. Would not use it again
